Marketplace: third-party platforms where listings may be shown (e.g., Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, eBay, etc.).
Listing data: information about items, listings, sellers, prices, and related metadata that appears on Marketplaces or other sources.
Account data: information you provide to create and manage your MyBuy account.
3. Information we collect
A. Information you provide to us
We may collect:
- Contact and account information: name, email, phone number, login credentials for MyBuy
- Billing and transaction information: payment method details, billing address, purchase history, refunds (note: payment card details are typically processed by a payment processor; we may receive limited details such as last four digits and transaction status)
- Content you submit: saved searches, favorites, notes, feedback, messages you send to us, support requests
- Communications: emails, chats, and other correspondence with us; we may keep support records for quality assurance, training, and dispute resolution
B. Information we collect automatically
When you use the Services, we may collect:
- Device and technical data: IP address, device type, unique device identifiers, browser type, operating system, language, time zone, mobile carrier
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, clicks, searches performed, timestamps, referral/exit pages
- General location: approximate location (e.g., city/province) inferred from IP address

C. Information from third parties
We may receive information from:
- Payment processors (transaction status, fraud signals, subscription status)

If you choose to use a MyBuy browser extension or connect Marketplaces through MyBuy, we may collect and process data needed to provide the feature you requested, such as:
- pages or listing results you view within supported Marketplaces while using the feature
- listing details necessary to summarize, compare, and filter results
- technical logs required to diagnose issues and improve the feature
Important:
We do not require you to provide third-party Marketplace usernames/passwords to use MyBuy unless a feature explicitly asks for it. If any feature requires credentials, we will clearly disclose what is needed, why, and how it is protected.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including to:
A. Provide and operate the Services
- create, maintain, and secure MyBuy accounts
- deliver search, filtering, saving, and item discovery features
- personalize results based on your preferences (e.g., location, categories, saved searches)
- process payments, credits, subscriptions, and related transactions
- provide customer support and respond to requests
B. AI-assisted features
MyBuy may use automated systems (including machine learning) to help:
- rank, categorize, summarize, compare, or highlight listings
- detect spam, fraud, suspicious activity, or abuse
- improve relevance and reduce duplicate or low-quality results
We may use aggregated and/or de-identified information to develop and improve these systems where permitted by law.
C. Communications and marketing

- send marketing messages where permitted (you can opt out at any time)
- measure marketing performance and improve relevance
D. Safety, security, and compliance
- verify identity and prevent misuse

A. Within MyBuy Software Inc.

C. Business partners (only when relevant)
If we offer a co-branded program or partner feature, we may share limited information necessary to deliver that program. We will identify the partner and the nature of sharing at the time.
